Pops is here from Missouri, and he wants to fish Fork for Crappie. This may have something to do with all pictures I've sent him recently from this forum grin We have about a 3 hour drive to get to Fork, so I figured we'd drive in this afternoon, spend the night at a lodge, and fish a couple of days.

I'd appreciate any suggestions on a place to stay. I'm looking for a place that's close to a good Crappie fishing area, so we won't have to run too far on the lake (I haven't fished Fork much, and it makes me nervous to run that lake eek )

Pops and I have had some good times on the water, and I'm hoping to make this the Crappie trip of a lifetime!

Thanks!

I've got TFF member discounts and we are right next to the 515 bridge where the crappie hang out.

fish Well if my dad was coming all the way from Missouri to fish in Texas, I'd boast a bit and book him at Lake Fork Lodge. It is (by far) the nicest place to stay on the lake.
