Best Western was great, stay on the back side, it has a ramp and you can keep your rig hooked up.

I like Oso Blanco also Sunn Bridge is a little more a night and cleaner. If you are going with about six people give Tom and James at Falcon Lake and Tackle they have a place they rent.

If all u need is a shower and place to sleep, beacon lodge.... They do have a couple of nicer lil cabins that are more up to date if u wanna spend a lil more money, also nice to have your rig parked next to ya and ramp 1 min away!
Oso is about the the same with a ramp on site...

The best thing for 4 or more is Joes Lakeside Paradise. It is cheep and nice and the best view on the lake. Has out side fire pit and grill area. Great parking for several boats and very very secluded and safe. 956-235-0128

Well we just came back from staying 3 nights at the Best Western in Zapata. This place is kinda pricey, but I will stay there again next month. The beds are very comfortable, its clean and (can be) quiet, unless Jersey Dan is next door!!! The free breakfast was great. Fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, gravy and biscuits. Several cereals with milk and orange juice. The coffee machine is a blessing. Nothing like a half mug of coffee with two espresso shots to get you awake for fishing. If you value a great breakfast before a full day of fishing this place is great. I figured every breakfast was worth 20$ for both of us so that helps defray the actual cost of the stay. Now the Bad! Truck and boat parking is interesting. Haphazard at best. And some people are idiots. But its well lit and pretty safe. Just bring a long extension cord. And first come first served in the parking free for all. Hope this helps, and you catch a ton of fish.

We stayed at Best Western, too, from Sun thru Thurs. We missed seeing you spectre, but did meet Jersey Dan and Champ198. We paid $79/night, very well worth it.......internet price. I will stay there again every time I go.
