I hate to hear that. Wife said there was quite a few vehicles at the bridge today. Wonder why?

I stopped by on my way home just to check it out. Walked down and made a few casts with no luck but the water wasnt flowing at the water outtake. Game warden was at the fence when I got back to my car to check fishing licenses.

This post. lol. The creek looks like a great spot to catch some crappie but they just weren't wanting anything today. And if anyone's planning on takin a yak down there, good luck cuz it was pretty tough. lot of dams caused by floods.

Wow, I didn't know there were so many folks ready to catch crappie that they would be caught by this. I think it is time for me to put my swamp land and my bridge up for sale, at a reduced price for sure.

yeah forgot to tell you that there is not much action unless that little spillway is releasing water fast. never had much luck when it wasn't. gonna be hard to get up in there with a yak. lots of fallen timber.

Is there anyway to know if that spillway is releasing water before heading out there?

Could someone take pics of the creek. This talk about dams and water flow has me wondering just what does it look like in person.

Ok the kayak thing was a bad idea. I recommend walking in if your going to fish it. Way too many obstacles. I ended up with some wet clothes, a small sandie and a lmb. I might run over there again today if I get bored at the house. the place looks promising But I don think they are in there thick yet.
