Since my buddy and I did so well on Cypress Springs on Sunday, we thought we would hit it one more time before the weather turned South and I am glad we did! All fish came off the bridge columns but the biggest bite came from shallower water 8 to 11' foot instead of the 10 to 13 foot we found the biggest bunch in on Sunday. Had to change colors up today as well. Sunday was overcast and electric chicken wore 'em out all day. Yesterday was clear and it was blue ice or bust. Again it was stick and move, stick and move. Pick up 3-4 fish at a spot and if you weren't thumped after 5 minutes or so after your 3rd or 4th fish...move. They were defiantly following the bait fish up and down the bridge. Just like Sunday, the bite shut off at about 3:30 or so, but was steady all morning long. Another thing I noticed was that on Sunday, about 60% of our fish were males...yesterday it was almost all females which makes me think that with the pretty weather the past few days, the males moved closer to shore to set up the love nests. Six hours of fishing we managed 53 fish, 48 keepers. Off to a great start to the spring and I pray it keeps on rolling!

You Know whats really going on..And your right..I think the best time to go fishing is yesterday..Always has been..always will be..Playing hookie always catchs fish..Great catch..
