I'm gonna give it a go at Purtis Creek this coming Saturday. I'll be getting there early if anyone wants to join. I'll be in the old green Caddis.

txoutdoorsman FYI, they don't open the gates until about 07:00.
Usually, I go the night before and sleep in the truck.

Never been on the lake, but have a place just 5 minutes up the road.
Are you bass fishin or crappie fishin? If it's crappie let me know how they are doing. I need to get some for the dinner table and some bigg'uns might accidently jump out into my tank, like last time.
