Are the big girls movin to the beds yet? Saw a report from about a week ago stating that the bucks had started building. Starting my 24 hour drive saturday and wondering what to expect.

I spent Saturday upriver past mm 18 in Mexico. Didn't see any beds. The water temps were still a bit cool with mid to upper 50s in the morning. I was with my wife and hoping to get easy numbers for her shallow but not on Saturday. Did catch a few nice fish staging on deep banks throwing a jig.

I bet if the water is a little warmer, this weekend should be differiant.

Just got back from a 3 day trip. Water temps were 55-63, depending on lake area. River temps were warmer. Saw a few bed fish and numerous cruiser bass, which was our tip that their was a bed close. Had a great time, never thought that we were not in a safe place.
