Going to fun fish at Bridgeport in a couple weeks. i hear it has smallmouth?....I have never been there and any help/tips would be appreciated....
What is the water temp? Is that a good numbers lake or size? Bait of Choice?
Thanks.

Caught good numbers last week in 10ft of water in the warmer pockets. Had alot of little blacks and a few spots. Had a couple really nice 17" slot fish. The smallmouh are hard to find but... when you do find them dont leave the area until you have fished it completely. It usually takes a while fishing B'port to get good at catching them smallies.

You probably wont find the smallies out there but you can go to any windblown bank and ware-out the blackbass and sandbass. You would have better luck targeting hybrids out there than smallmouth.
