lol, a.bunker for your information at the eisenhower state park there is a fishing lit pier that floats off the bank into the middle of the water <--- why don't you go out there yourself and take a look the water is that deep and the water there is clearly down.. whats funny is that I am not even trying to start all this ol forum back and forth stuff. Im just a simple person giving a simple statement if you do not like it THEN DON'T READ IT!!! I STARTED THE THREAD AND IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO RESPOND TO THEN SIMPLY DON'T ANSWER IT.. IF YOU ARE BORED AND NEED A LITTLE EGO HELP..THEN GO AHEAD AND ANSWER.. mstewart that sounds like a good idea I have never tryed the kayak at the dam usually just see people wading in or airboating..I am going to have to take that into consideration..happy fishing every 1 sorry for all the confusion.

Apparently, this argument is all a matter of perspective?
you actually CAN bank-fish the lake side, but it was erroneous
to include denison dam in the title, as it leads those of us die-hard river-rats that something has actually changed & fish are being caught. when those of us that are, do read it & are let down by yet another lake report, we can not help being just the slightest bit put off, especially by a newbie.
That said, said newbie should be respectful enough to speak as a guest at one's dinner table until he has built enough reputation among other members to be taken lightly when necessary.

....how's that for junior moderator?

422studios i have a question. If you dont mind me asking about how old are you? I ask that because the language that you use is that of a highschool student (i should know being how i am in highschool). Just a little advice a simple my bad would have ended this thread long ago. The reason it has gone this far is because you became very hostile and started acting like a high schooler and also the fact that you are new to the forum means you should respect the ones who do pull alot of weight around here.

Like a Marine and his rifle there is nothing deadlier than a fisherman and his rod

Water level is down on the lake, crappie fair on minnows 15ft-18ft. stripers were very scarce with only catching about 3 on a 4' sassy shad glow in about 30ft-40ft of water. Did happen to catch some smallmouths off of the rock shoreline with perch colored cranks.. Overall 1-10 about a 4 when you factor everything in from the trip.

422 ur post was/is fine keep up the good work man. don't let ignorant people drive you away.

There was nothing wrong with that report. This looks to me like personal attacks, and bullying, in an attempt to harass and keep a relative new guy from posting a Bank Fishing report, in a location where bank fishing reports are encouraged.

I don't see any knowledge, just personal attack on a newbie.

Throw some "knowledge my way". Where below the dam, are you going to find 30' to 40' of water below the dam (maybe Louisiana)?

His title indicates "Texoma Denison Dam", and it looks like he was fishing on "Texoma Denison Dam"? Nothing indicated boat, nothing indicated river.

You can't fish on the dam, and be fishing in the river. You can be fishing below the dam, you can be fishing the spill-way, or be fishing in the river.

I have canoed, kayaked, motor boated, and even freedived many holes from the sand launch on the Oklahoma side to areas past the bridge 7 miles below the dam?

It is perfectly understood that he was fishing on the Lake side, where the depths go down to around 100' (depending on the water level of the lake).

It was clear that 422 was a newbie "Green Horn" with 16 posts, and those that attacked his post were only trying to discourage anyone new from posting on this site, and I'm certainly not encouraging that type of behavior.
