Well I had planned on going fishing tomorrow but due to the high winds and a couple of other things, my Dad (fishing partner and boat owner) is not going to be able to go. I need to hook me some large mouth bass to make these blues go away!! Maybe next week.

That is normally the area we fish on EM anyways. We just don't put in on that side. My Dad lives closer to the other side so we usually put in at Shady Grove when you can launch from there

I'd put in where you normally put in and fish around walnut creek and if you don't have any success there, put the boat on the trailer and pull it around to harbor one and fish the lake country area. You won't have to worry about the rough water running across the lake and use just as much gas pulling the boat as you probably would boating across. Just a suggestion that might convince your dad to go. Either way, good luck with your new reels.

Go hit a local stock tank. A buddy of mine has had the blues as well and he had a great day with spinnerbaits.
