I caught this nice slab about an hour ago at the pond at California Crossing. Not in the river. I caught it on a 1/6 oz. white Rooster Tail. The fish hit it right after it hit the water. I hat not even started to reel in yet.  More info. Check map for location: Troy's Flickr

No it's not, its the pond directly behind the Armory. I recognize that bank1 I have caught washtubs full of crappie that size out of that pond over the years. Most people don't even know that one is there,
