For those looking to learn the basics of fly fishing on the Guadalupe River, Castell Guide Service (that's me) and Action Angler are hosting a Guadalupe River 101 class on Sunday, March 13. This is a half day, intro to fly fishing that covers the basics of gear, fly selection, knots and casting. Click here to learn more about GR101.

For those who know the basics, but need to brush up on their bugs and fly selection, as well as wanting to learn a few new spots on the Guadalupe. Our Guadalupe River 201 class is a 6 hour class for intermediate anglers on Sunday, March 20. Click here to learn more about GR 201.

These classes are great deals. Dan knows a lot about fly fishing and about the Guad and attending one of his classes provides a great shortcut to learning to fish it well.

We still have a number of 101 spots available and a few 201 spots remain.

Thanks Russell & Mick for the kind words.
