As the saying goes....you learn something everyday! Not only did I not know there was incredible trout fishing in Texas, I would have never expected it to be in the Hill Country! So when my good friend from Colorado, trout fishing expert and guide Cameron Cipponeri, was telling me about it one day last fall as we were crushing big rainbows on the Roaring Fork River near Aspen, I was shocked! And when he told me he was coming down for three weeks in April/early May to get in on the action, I told him I was in! Cameron will be down for around two weeks doing float trips on the Guadalupe and Colorado Rivers.

Cameron is not only one of the finest technical guides I have ever met, but a great instructional guide as well. His years of experience on the Frying Pan, Roaring Fork and Colorado River in Central Colorado have served him well. He is also very outgoing and alot of fun....simply put he lives, breathes and loves fly fishing! If you have ever been inclined to learn how to fly fish, or you are already an accomplished angler and need a trout fix, this is your chance! Cameron will only be down for a couple of weeks, so there won't be many slots. While he does both wade and drift trips, he definately recommends drifting as you can cover much more water.

Cameron works with Dan Cone from Castells Guide Service. They are both great guys who know the game. If your interested in getting one of these slots (there are only about 12) shoot me an email and I will send you the PDF with all of the info. Dont miss out!

Was a little surprised to see Cam's name here on TFF this morning but not so surprised by Brett's comments. I've worked with Cameron for about 6 years in Colorado and am looking forward to seeing him in Texas this spring.
