Ruben Gomez has opened a tackle store here in San antonio and carries alot of unique baits that u wont find at the local bass pro or academy...

Sorry for the caps... BUT THATS FREAKING AWESOME. Been looking for a much closer tackle shop that is better than Academy but not near as far as Bass Pro.
You know the old saying
If it floats, flys, or f___s it is always cheaper to rent!
You have to decide which is more important.

Does he work on reels or have a web site? Looking for a part for an old mitchelle 300 excellent. Try Matthews Rod and reel repair its right around the corner from ruben... i dont have his info but u can google it..

Does he carry War Eagle jigs or Pro's Choice lures? No pro choice lures, I remember seeing some spinnerbaits while I was over helpping him setup but I will find out for ya.. Any particular color and sizes?

Went by yesterday and place was locked up tighter than dicks hat band. Called later on and no one answered the phone. Thought the tackle store was open?
