well heading out for those 10 plus cats at purtis creek tonight. if any of you have not tried purtis creek for cats it is worth the drive. in the past we have gone and have not caught anything smaller than 8lbs the biggest going 15lbs. my brother in law use to fish there all the time and gave me some hints on where to catch some nice bass as well as the kitties. anyone not having nothing to do this weekend should head up there tonight and try there luck my buddy went last week and tore them up. if anyone comes out i'll be on the rocks at the dam, and i can give you some hints on catching the cats out there will have a big blue basket on wheels that i use to tote the poles and stuff stop by say hi and catch some cats with us.
good luck to all this weekend and rip some lip.

Hey MrJigga: Purtis Creek is a State Park. It's located near Eustice Texas on Hwy 316. If you take Hwy 175 to Maybank just pat the Red Light on the right is the Hwy 316 turn off and A sign that indicates Purtis Creek State Park. Might be an easier route for you the first time you go? I have done real well there in August with a 3/8oz Water Mellon Jig and a Lake Fork Tackle Pig Claw wtr/mln trailer with the claws diped in chart dye. Fish the trees across from the boat ramp where the hydrilla bed drops off and any holes in the grass for some good bass action. A C-riged Lake Fork Tackle wtr/mln/red Ring fry or Craw tube will get you bit off the pier throwing back towards the dam and some times the chartruse Ring fry will get you some channel cats right about sundown. Good Luck With The Cats And Bass Yall! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Bazztex<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
