 Thieves cancelled fishing before class...

So I decide to go fish before class for a few hours...open the garage, snapped the swing tongue into place on the boat trailer...look at my truck...and ask myself, did I take my tire off? The second one? PLEASE not all 4....oh yeah. ALL STOCK WHEELS, solid tires, nothing special...ALL GONE and sitting on 2x4's, and one brick by my front door...2005 chevy avalanche...  I sang the "Like a Good Neighbor, State Farm is THERE!" they said it would be taken care of, but have yet to show up or call me back... If somebody would PM me how to post pictures, I will post them... No damage done, but the slant of my drive way is about a 6 foot grade from street level...thousands of pounds resting on an edge of a 2x4...what a pain in the ar$e and did not get to fish...

eagle2....it could be, yes, thankful I did not hear them, because I would have made a terrible decision, and nobody here at my house got hurt in the process. Thankful for learning.

Sorry to hear that. Did you have lug nut locks on each wheel? Not that will stop them every time but helps.

Waco. No lug nut locks.....they can knock them off with a hammer. The cops were just shocked bc it was a steep angle. Oh well. Definitely pros at this.

Hopefully they won't get so lucky next time. I have worked almost 20 yrs in the criminal justice system and have zero tolerance for criminals.
Sorry you are having to go through this. I have been a victim several times myself (burglary, theft and assault).

Chevy stock truck tires are one of the most stolen tires. It's an epidemic.
When you go to buy new ones, don't buy 3rd party stock rims or you will just be feeding the system.

Everything will be from the dealer...checking it out to make sure they didn't bend the frame. They had to have used a race jack. One pull equals 8-12" of leverage. Hopefully, pics will be up soon.
