anybody do any good at ablon garland. saw one caught in 2 hours the day they stocked

ablon park sucks...only place where I got skunked. that pond is way too big and deep

Weekend after stocking I limited at Ablon both days. Since then,nada. This half and half stocking is limiting the fishing rather than stretching it out like they think. Gotta talk to someone in Mesquite about their silly [censored] 250 every two weeks at City Park..

Another trout season in the books, for me at least. Had the most fun at Prosper nice pond setup and nice size fish compared to other sites.

Thanks Fast_action_rod for starting this thread. This is my first winter trout season, did really good at prosper too, caught less fish in Frisco but the fish were bigger.

I'm done for the year. My most productive place was Lakeside in Duncanville. Steady and larger than most other places.

It's over for me too.
It's been tougher than usual having to learn other ponds.I have had it too easy just going to Samual Farm. I have a gut feeling they won't be stocking next year either.

Go ahead and let it be over if the trout stocking stops,but not now.Mike Lewis Park in Grand Prairie and Northwest in Irving were stocked yesterday according to TPW website so its still on.The neighborhood fishing ponds had thier last stocking on Friday.

Those fish better watch out, they may get heat stroke. LOL.
