Just curious....anyone ever caught any albino catfish in the north texas waters? Caught some in Kentucky but never have here in Texas.

No albinos but I did get a piebald several months ago.

We use to have an albino blue in our pond. I referred to it as moby dick. Never seen one from a lake.

Does anyone know if albinos are more common in certain areas of the country? I would think, areas with deeper water would be more likely to have albinos, but I would like to know more...

Here's an albino channel cat I caught back in 2008 while bank fishing Lewiville here by my house. The camera phone pic isn't that great. I released it some hopefully someone else will get a chance to catch one some day.

they have a big albino blue(or did) at Olson's in Fort Worth!

No albinos but I did get a piebald several months ago. that is one of the coolest fish i have ever seen. my lifelong goal is to catch that baby you released and to say "i caught cathog's chocolate dipped cat!!!"

I spotted an albino yellow cat while bowfishing on lake belton. I estimated him to be around 15 pounds. Some friends of mine has seen him swimming around too.
