Just an FYI for everybody, they ARE there, but its very hit and miss along the banks near 377. The dam is no longer an issue,(though you can't boat west of it just yet) so once they really start staging and running, they should still be heading to all the way upstream haunts as usual. My prediction: the next few weeks will be a sandbass slayin good time. food

If the dam isn't there why can't you boat west of it? Low water?

Can you launch a 19ft fiberglass boat at the marshall creek ramp? Is getting around easy?

Yes, you can launch at the ramp, $5 fee. Pretty easy to get ot the hole. Or you can launch at twincove ramp for free.

Pretty sure they could not get to I-35W right now with the lake level where it is. Right past Henrietta hole should be way too shallow for fish. I have taken a boat past the hole when the water was higher to only find ankle deep water around the bend.

Fellas. Maybe dumb question.. But how you know when you are at the Henrietta hole ? I fish denton creek all the time ( around marshall creek park n under 377 ) in my kayak .. Always wonder where this mystery hole is.. Do pretty good just hitting brush piles and drifting but feel like I missing out on something !!! THANKS in advance for any replies !!!!!!
