I recently moved from Flower Mound to Southlake and I would like to find a few good fishing spots. I like all types of fishing. I prefer the bigger fish (who doesnt). I am near meadowmere park. Also if you know what the are hitting on let me know. If anyone could send some advice my way I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Jon

I've been catching black bass, drum and sunfish in that cove by the now closed boat ramp. If you're there around dusk you'll see me in the kayak. I think there are a good number of catfish in there too as well as some small carp.

Oh and I'm catching on a fly rod with minnow and crawfish type patterns. I would guess plastics in these same patterns should work.
