--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 2010 Legend Apha 211 with a 250 Pro XS and a 25p Fury prop. My question is when I hit about 70mph it starts to chinewalk and by the time it gets to 72 or 73 it gets scary. I think I could hit 75 pretty easy if not for the chinewalk. Do I need to adjust the jack plate? And if so do I need to go up or down and how much should I adjust at one time? Thanks

If you are not accustom to driving through it you would be good to get some pointers. I have seen boats the were classified as undrivable over 70 MPH that if they are driven by an experienced pilot they can do way over 70 safely. It took me about 40 gallons of gas and practicing at WOT to get the feel for driving through it.

My last boat was a 06 skeeter zx225 and it would chine walk about 68 and I could jerk the wheel a little and it would quit and get up to 72. This boat will quit if I do the same thing but soon starts to chinewalk again and at 72 or 73 just seems to be scary. Maybe I will wait for the wind to die down and try it again. Thanks,
