Two bites all day, landed one about 2lbs, fishing was tough, but the weather was great. Talked to a lot of guys that ZERO'd for the day.

Had a tourney two weeks ago there out of 80 people only 10 weighted fish. Guy that won it caught 3 fish for 22 and some change. 2 10lb and some change fish and a two pounder. Man is like to hook into one of those lunkers. Second was like 14 and some change. Tough fishin right now.
I fish therefore i am! Tight lines yall. U.S. Air force active duty pb 8.5 pounds

Yeah main lake temps were only 53-54 degrees, kind of suprised that the water was still that cold, and the bite reflected it. You could go shallow and catch little ins but the keeper fish bite was hard to find.

It was tough, the bites were slow,I had 3 bites all day, buddy fished with with me and got 6th with 11lbs and got 2nd big bass with a 9.79. We only boated 3 fish and we fished the same places my buddies grandpa had 17lbs with last Sunday. Big bass was 10 1/2 lbs and he had a 8 1/2 and solid bag to go with it. The Junior angler that won had 15lbs I believe. Did Schmidt catch his fish out on the Main lake?

I think he said he found some Deep grass that was still healthy.
I Looked and all the Grass I found was brown. First time I have been there since last summer, so I have No idea where some good grass would be at.
I brought 2 fish to the scales for 6.75 lost another 4lber at the boat trying to fight the wind. The Wife had 2 for 3.65.
All my bites came on a Football Jig worked slowly in 10 foot on channell swings. The fish are there and I think the bite will be good after the pressure stabilizes.

Where is the Junkpile? Is that just on the north side of Leaday?

I saw some 62 degree water in the very back of a couple of pockets and most everywhere was 55-57 by weigh in.

Ivie really fishes small now that the water is so low! Been 8 years since I've been there and its crazy how different it looks. I couldn't believe that the rock pile on the far end by the dam was above water, caught a lot of good fish of that thing when there was 12-14 ft of water above it! Not a lot of places for those fish to get away from the fishing pressure with tournaments every weekend and the water so low.
