What oil company do you work for?

Rudy, This topic made me remember that time we were at Northlake discharge when I happened to first notice that huge cottonmouth as I was straddling it!
I remember getting your attention with a rather loud (yet manly) yelp no doubt followed by choice string of expletives.

Oh Yeah, thanks to me you will still be able to father children if you ever decide that's what you wanna do. As I recall, that snake's head had drawn a bead on that most nether of your regions!

Yeah Rudy, that was one hell of a shot! With a 45 from the waist no less! ( I still limp a little)

Complain! Complain! Complain! That limp is hardly noticeable unless you point it out to someone, and you are still virile and fertile aren't you!

What more could you ask for!

And it was quite a shot, little to no blood spattered, from either target, hardly a ripple of dust from the passing through bullet, all in all, a clean kill!

Apparently, Doyle's honey hole is the confluence of the Kenai and the Russian Rivers! He keeps going back there, and keeps making new "friends"!

To Wit:

This time, not one, but TWO grizzlies salmon fishing! NOTE the fisherman behind the bears in at least knee deep water!

They seem to be totally oblivious to human presence!

A Momma Moose and her Baby! A Momma Moose protecting her baby is every bit as dangerous, if not moreso, than a Grizzly!

BTW Doyle also says they are struggling mightily with TEMPS IN THE 50'S AND 60'S UP THERE!!

Tough life!

I had a buddy fishing in a pond behind his grandads house one night.
He had only been out there maybe 10 minutes when he caught nice eating-size catfish. He put it on his stringer, put it in the water, and had the other end of the stringer tied to the leg of his lawn chair. He was there about another 30 minutes when he spotted something moving. He turned on his light and saw a water mocacasin about 5 feet from him. He said he scared him so bad he rolled over backwards on his chair. He went to his house to get a shovel and when he came back the snake had the catfish about half-way eaten and had drug his lawn chair to the very edge of the water.
I don't think I would be out there at night any more!!
