Hi,
Anyone been out to Possum Kingdom lately? I really like the scenery out there, and it used to be pretty good fishing. Been thinking about going back, but last few years people have told me fishing's been pretty bad there due to an algae bloom or something. Anyone have any info? Also, if I did decide to go, any places that be good fishing?

Check the TPWD website.
According to everything I've read or heard, PK is pretty much dead except in the upper end of the lake.
Golden Algae has killed off almost all of the fish. Will take years to recover.
It's a shame. I used to go there years ago. Love the lake.

Its sad, but true, golden alga has killed the fish and keeps killing them. The lake won't come back unless they find a way to control the alga. Its a beautiful lake but right now no fish.-Joe
