 New PB today on Choke

My son and I had a pretty decent day today on Choke. The fish were a little more aggressive this week compared to last. White seemed to be the magic color for us today. Mainly white spinnerbaits with double willow blades, but the catch of the day (my new PB - 8.2 LBS) came right at daybreak on a White buzzbait. It was that perfect...calm water...low light...topwater EXPLOSION too. By the time we took a pic, weighed, and released her...I realized I was shaking like a leaf!! Too much excitement that early in the morning I guess. Sorry the pic is not focused too great....

Congrats on the PB and getting her on a topwater!  That was my game plan to start Friday morning on Choke since it was supposed to be overcast until around noon but it was full sun early on.

Is there any thing better in the world than catching a fish on a top water first thing in the morning? When it blows up like that I almost fall out of the boat! Awesome man.
