 Hybrid Stripers and White Bass -- Richland Chambers Lake

Had a great day on the water kayak fishing! http://paddlesportsportal.com/forum/showthread.php?310-Hybrid-Stripers-Richland-Chambers-LakeLaunched at sunrise on Richland Chambers Lake in central Texas. Paddled to the SE corner of the lake and fished drop offs in the 35-45 ft depth range. Targeted fish under working birds verticle jigging and casting 1/2 oz jigging spoons. Lake Conditions: High 40's - 50's, 10-20mph winds  Smaller Hybrid:  Found the big ones just after lunch:  Back to back catches:  Fatty!  Ended the day with ~20 White Bass and 4 Hyrbrid Stripers.

what did that bottom fish weight?? Poor thing has an eating disorder!! Good catch!

Didn't weigh any of them, just happy to have some freshwater filets in the freezer for a change!
Definitely over 10lb. What a blast!

Those are great fish Crazy Yak!! That last one the tail bent downward making it look not proportional but still a heck of a fish!!  Crazy Yak, you should post this in the Kayak section. You will gain many instant friends

Nice fish! Fatty for sure! My PB is a 13 from Rowlett Creek! But it was long and slender..
