I just moved to White Settlement and would love to check out Lake Worth because it is just a few miles down the road. The only problem is I am temporarily without a boat, so I'm looking for a good public fishing dock or bank where I can just get a line in the water every now and then. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Even if it's not Lake Worth, if you know something close to the West Fort Worth area I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Marine Creek Lake is an ok spot to bank fish, mainly the north end on the east side by the college. Ive hammered the crappie there a few times. Bass fishin is kinda tough though. Vances camp is another one, river connecting Worth and Eagle Mountain. You can hit up your local golf courses, but at night obvioulsy. Hope it helps!!

You can catch big cats at the 820 bridge and 199 bridge. Mosque point pavillion has a good banking shore but it's a steep hike. The park that runs across from the base is good fishing also
