The fish were kind of turned off a little yesterday, yet they were at almost every depth we fished, could see them on the electronics. They just didn't want to bite like they have been. We caught fish in 21-27' with the majority coming in 21-22'. Best colors today were blue ice and natural cricket. The guy with me was using shiners as well and they didn't help much. We ended up with 32 crappie from 11-14" and two dinks. Not as good as Wednesday, but still not bad. I have enjoyed myself out there this winter, but will probably not be going back until the next December. Got plenty of fish and gas is getting too high.

Oh well, it was sure good while it lasted.

It might still be good in the deeper water for a few more days, possibly even longer. I was still was seeing a lot of fish on my electronics, they just didn't really want to bite. I also know two guys who got there at 11:00 and stayed until almost dark and got their limit. They were using minners and fishing five poles apiece though.
