Tired of hauling everything down to boat. Looking at Loc-R-Bars. What's been everyone's experience with this product. Did a search but no results. Live on the lake in what so far has been crime free.......but it just takes one?

They just keep the honest guys honest. Thieves will hook your trailer winch strap to it and pull it loose breaking fiberglass and all.

I heard that was urban legend material. It's true though that if they want in they'll get in. Just remember theives look for easiest target... Dan

If they want it, they will find a way to get it. Only salvation is that you are there when they are tryin to take it and blow their Sh$t away.

here we go again! Froggerzack, you ever see that done? No, it is a rumor. Good lord all you got to do is cut the padlock to get in. The winch deal is nothing but BS. I have a locker bar and it is the best thing I put on my last two boats. Yes, if they want in they will get in but they will hit the boat next to you before yours. I like it for when I am on the road and make pit stops. At night at a hotel I take my gear inside. I also just bought one of the alarm padlocks so that when it is disturbed it makes a heck of a racket. Again, the winch strap theory does not work and is total BS

I have a Loc-R-Bar and love the security. I've heard all the urban legends but it is worth the money and if you add a security alarm it is even better. I also have the two way alarm and if anyone jiggles my Loc-R-Bar the alarm goes off.
I think they are well worth the money.

Not true. North Texas Fiberglass tried it. Can't get enough leverage to do it.
