In the interest of fairness both blast off and weigh in will be at Bass Pro. I think this will thin the field, I know I won't be fishing it if this remains as the rule. Hope the turn out is good for you guys! So if the other Bert is out of the tourney, then I actually stand a chance of winning something.... Seriously, this is for a great cause--helping those who sacrificed so much for me and my family. Whatever the rules are, I will be there.

This isn't the HOW tourney, I will be going out of state Walleye and Trout fishing with some friends the weekend they are holding this tourney. The big girls will mostly be a good ways away from BPS the weekend they are having this. B-Rod, PM me and I will give you some spots if you want to fish this.

Thanks, Bert for clarifying that; I misread Neumie's post. Understand now that this tourney isn't HOW related.

Ok , so it's back to work at Bass Pro for me tomorrow. I should be in contact with the gent who is overseeing the setup for the tourney. Any questions you want to relay at this time?

My one suggestion would be if there is a large number of pre-registrants that Zion Road or Windsurf Bay Park be considered for a secondary launch site. Both are in close proximity BPS and would lessen some of the launch congestion at BPS. It's seems like it would be feasible to have a couple of "launch officials" where participants check in and give the launch signal. Both are within radio range of BPS and WS Bay could actually support a lot of kayaks lined up a row for a floating launch. I would definitely have the weigh in at BPS. Just my 2 cents.
