Barrett Big bass mcclendon has been known to catch spots over 16 on most lakes...

That says to me the State regulations pertaining to Spots is what applies, but I would still call the folks at Champs for clarification. Their contact info is on the website and they are super friendly and responsive, in my experience.

I would almost guarantee u that there r spots in every lake in northe east texas. I've. Caught them in fork, and I've only been to fork four times. Over 16? That's a different story

 That's who I'd call. Hey grayson, good on ya for finding out ahead of time instead of on stage! Although, I gotta a hundred says you don't catch a Spot over 16" in Champs at Fork. No bet, catch one I'll give you a Benjamin. Now to give you the incentive to go out and catch one, I'm gonna leave that out there for you during the 2011 Champs season. Plus any 2012 post-season events for which you qualify. Lake Fork only. I wish you the best of luck! Go get 'em!

I plan to look this up on the TPWD to see if a record of spots on LF exists. Back in a few.
