McKinney Bass Club is having a tourney this weekend on Davy Crockett (northeast of Bonham) and we have a couple of non-boater members that are in need of a back seat to fish from. We will fish this saturday (Feb 26) from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If you are a boater and would be interested in fishing with us and one of our non-boater members this weekend, please pm me or email me at derrick_chris@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for your help

Cross me off the list. I found myself another Champion to use this weekend!

I'm heading out to Crockett this weekend with the family. Haven't been out there in a while. Any feedback on how you guys recent tournament went? Not looking for anything specific, just curious if the fish were active and if people caught them well.

The fish weren't up shallow yet so we used chrome traps and threw away from shore and caught the winning sack which was just over 19lbs. We had a nice kicker that went 6.63lbs that was caught on a pearl colored trap. Let it sink and rip it free of the grass, pause it and hold on. The crappie were on fire too. We caught a dozen on our traps as they sank and ran into two guys that said they had caught over 200. They were each pulling them up two at a time right in front of us. It was my first time on the lake but it won't be my last. Good Luck!
