Looking to try out braid. What are your thoughts on the Spiderwire Ultracast braid, invisi-braid, or fluorobraid? Do they tend to flatten out or do they keep their shape well? Any info is appreciated.

I am going to try this line, because it sinks.

I use the invisibraid , works good, floats, and is easy to see..
I use it for weightless baits and you can watch for movement of the line ..floating is "good"
If you want it to sink , add some weight

If you look hard enough at bassproshop, or if you have a saltwater catalog look for "magibraid"
been using it for years ..last forever ..
300 yard spool was about $30 last time I bought it

I just tried the Flouro-Braid and liked how it performed. I used the #20 with #6 diameter. No issues so far.

I throw invisibraid most of the time on everything except my dropshot rig. I'm wanting to try the Flouro-Braid with my cranks.

Spiderwire is good for the price. I usually tie a palomar with my braids and when we were using stealth, we had to tie a double palomar or else it would slip. It loses color faster than some other braids, but that doesn't mean that is is weak. The color doesn't matter to the line, just your head, take a sharpie to it to fix that.
Now for the opinions... Hate PP. Love Suffix, PP is a flat braid, much like dental floss. Suffix is round and doesn't dig into the spool like pp. Good luck

Spiderwire Stealth has never really flattened on me, but theres lots of good braids (just dont buy the very cheap Chinese ones on ebay, theyre extremely stiff and dig in badly).

Theres also the Spiderwire "EZ BRAID" that is supposedly intended for starters of braided line.

Im going to get Spiderwire FlouroBraid to put on my jigging setup. Ive asked for some input, one fella gave a positive input while another gave a negative one. Theres only one way to find out if it will suit me.

To each his own...

You're right. I have a chance to try some out free if I wanted to. But, response hasn't be stellar so I'll probably just stick with Seaguar fluoro. Thanks for the input everyone.
