For the dollar, Benno's is the best deal on the island. But try grilled snapper instead of fried flounder. The best fried flounder I have found is in Houston, at Goode Company seafood just off of Kirby - their fried flounder Po Boy is mighty fine!

don't know of anyone that offers a whole fried flounder, but Topwater Grill in San Leon has an excellent whole stuffed flounder. Had it last weekend.

Hand's down. Best fried flounder on earth, Beach and Station Street Grill, Port Aransas, Texas. I've been trying to steal his program for years!

went to Fisherman's Wharf and had a whole fried flounder and it was great. While we were eating, one of the cruise ships was leaving port and it was interesting watching that huge ship turn around in such a small area. Had a nice trip, but good to be back in North Texas.
