The Mettle of course, but the new Speed Spool is amazingly smooth. Probably be my next reel.

PFLUEGER Cetina- available at Bass Pro, has 7.1 to 1 ratio, nine double sided ball bearings, Fastest smoothest reel I saw. Actually have a spare one in the box on my shelf for just in case, and 5 of them on 5 rods on the boat. They are Awesome!! Met a guy and wife at BP while outfitting my boat, and he showed me the difference in reels, and why he was buying it. They only had like 2 onhand, I bought the last one, then ordered 5 more online,...the BP sales person tried getting me to try this one and this one,...I kept spinning the one reel compared to all of em and not even close. Try em....and youll probably have a spare in your arsenal.

If you're not a revo guy, then you're gonna hate the lews. They're both made off the same platform by pure fishing.
**Sorry I misread your post, but the info I posted is still valid for those reading the thread.

oh yeah, the part of them being made by pure fishing IS absolutely wrong. My mistake.
They are made in Korea in the same plant off the same basic platform as the Revo, Johnny Morris, Pro Qualifier, Carbonlite, Pflueger Patriarch and President.
