Just looking for a place to take the family for some fishing an advice? Never have been to the Galveston Area?

There are 2 public piers you can fish from, 61st street pier and seawolf park pier. If you don't care about catching huge trophy fish, you can catch numbers of fish from any af the rock jetties that line the seawall. Just get some shrimp, squid, or cutbait and you can catch alot of fun fish, just beware of the hardheads...They can stick you, and it is hurts bad for days...I can give more info if needed.
