I splice line everytime now. You can get more than two reels done this way cheers


same here. I pull off 75 yards of the old, and splice a new 75 yard piece in.

I can fill 3 reels at least with a 200yd spool. use some mono for backing and flupro goes a long way.

I appreciate all of the advice.....Got two more spools at Academy today.....I was just wondering because I would stick with braid on most of my rods if it werent for Seaguar.....Absolutely the best that I have used.....When you have to brake off, it sounds like a shotgun going off because of the stress you actually have to put on it to break it......

uni to uni easy to tie i put just a bad of clear nail polish on it to cover the tag end that way if you happen to get down to it on a trip and havnt respoled it cast thru the guides easy
