caught this yesterday, topwater obviously. Props to my 4 year old son taking the picture with my iphone. He is at the age now where I take him on just about every trip.

I live in waco I like to fish witney but i dont know laot on good spots you mind telling me where about u like fish not exact spot were you caught him just any where.

I certainly recognize the stretch of shoreline behind you....but I won't give it up. On down about 1/2 mile from there is good smallmouth water (or it use to be).
Nice catch - that means the stripers will be banging the surface as well.

Thanks and to the people who asked this is in north rocky creek (not sure if that's big or little rocky). I catch fish on Whitney anywhere I can find transition 45 degree banks. Where it goes from chunk rock from solid rock. Or shallow water close to ledges that drop into 30-60ft.
Any of the creeks on the south part of the lake are good because there is always clear water.
