Seems I have a half day trip that got scheduled tomorrow morning.
I'm going to see if I can stick around until dark though and run the banks with you guys. I think I can...although I'll be exhausted.

Well, not as many people showed up as expected! But I got to see Jeff and Rudy again, always great to see you guys. And I got to meet JYFishes for the first time, good to meet you as well!

I ended up catching a total of 16 sandies, I think.

Everytime I looked down you were hauling another one in. I was further on the point. I ended up with 8. I may try one more time either tonight or Saturday night.

I caught sandies and bass yesterday. Started out in a diffrent spot in the park. Caught a couple small bass.
Then drove up to where ya'll were fishin' and got three sandies before I lost my trap.
Well at least I think that was ya'll...lol

Yea I was there yesterday evening and got skunkd at Murrell...Where are you guys going???

We were at the point, but the sandies really didn't start rolling in until about 8:15 or so, I'm guessing.

Starless, good to meet you as well. Rudy, nice to see you again.

We should plan this again next week some night, maybe get some more members out there, although for the 100 yards or so of shore, we were pretty stacked up as it was. Fun regardless.

Next time, I'll bring the burgers, someone else bring the buns and cokes...

can you help me out with a map I must of took the wrong way on Heritage and went around the back I fished that back end which was a deathly long walk man, but I think I seen you guys by the boat ramp on the otherside??? Is that the point by the boat ramp on Sentinal because I seen like 3 guys on the bank fishing there last night around 8 I stayed till at least 9:30 trying for some cats..no luck on that either...any direction would be apprieciated.

Located in the Flower Mound town limits on the north side of the lake. From FM 1171, turn south on FM 2499. Take a right on Flower Mound Road and an immediate left on McKamy Creek. Turn left on Simmons Road and follow to park.

Didnt make it out there last night wanted to take my kids out tonight. so we will probably go do the Lewisville barge its a little easier on Dad....But I will definatly be hitting this spot next week looks like the weather is going to cool down in the 80's not sure if that has any affect other then I hope there a little bigger...but the Humdinger is Tied on for whenever next week..

Mouth,don't overlook the possibilites of the ole rooster tail it's a fish catcher at The Vine,btw
I've sang the praises of the Humdinger,everything has a time and place but from the bank the Rooster is hard to beat!!Jeff Schiller commented that we have them trained to bite that Rooster,cause he was chunking a Humdinger and I swear we were hooking up more often!

Yeah I picked up on that while reading through the board. I have read allot on here and have learned allot I moved here from California with my family just 7 weeks ago..so Im not to fimiliar with the area as I want to be but Im gettin it down and hopefully with a little direction I will have just as many nice spots this year. Although I loved California Weather but the bass and cat fishing out here is incredible! Cant wait for Nov.!!!

Hey I noticed Lake Lavon has a Dam that flows into a river...Does anyone know if the cat fishing on that dam is any good? I have neem searching the maps Im itchin for someting larger then what I have been gettin.

Although I went on a guided trip with TrentB a week or so go on Lewisville and that guy treated me good by the end of the trip I had caught allot of sandies so many I didnt bother to count..arm was a little sore..it was great! I tell ya though that was my first expierence with White bass I have never seen a fish frenzy like that over the water it was incredible! needles to say in california they got some good bass fishin but it nothin like this..
