 Fishing around Boerne?

Im headed that direction this weekend and would like to try some new water. Staying in San Antonio near the airport most the weekend but headed to Boerne all day saturday. Any suggestions?

I have not fished Boerne Lake. I do know anglers who have and they have all said it is a pretty good lake. There are some big Sunnies and some nice bass in that lake. I think there is a fee to fish it but I am not sure. You may want to Google it to see. As for boats I know no boats with motors are allowed. As for non motor type boats I don't know. Hope this helps a little. Sorry I can't give you a updated report.
