Sweet! Glad to hear about the haul tonight! Man, I really wanna get out there.

How long will this last, all summer?

Good call on the guy with the cast net, glad you were able to get him to stop.

I'd love to get out there this week, don't know if I'll make it, trying to get ready for the CAGI!

Geek, try Oak grove. I plan to hit Meadowmere with the boat soon and see if I can find some. I like to chase em around with the trolling motor. Took the kids to Murrell last night and got em into a couple. My son even got a few of his own. I have to hook em for my daughter and give her the rod to finish em off.

I may try to make it out one of these days, maybe Thursday. Don't know though, will be getting ready for CAGI but I might be able to squeeze in an evening sandy trip!

Rudy, did you have to wade for them, or were they all in easy casting distance?

They started surfacing to the right of the point but eventually made it over there. I lost count at 30 and never had to get my feet wet.

agfisher, same spot only the lake is lower now so we are actually standing where we use to wade out to.Justin like Donnie said all within casting distance of the bank not necessary to get your feet wet unless you just want to cool off,BTW I switched to a 3/8oz rooster in white so I can chunk it out further when they disperse to open water!! wink

Went out tonite and met Francisco(ThatsOneSmallBass)nothing really going on at the point and wandered down the shoreline all the way to the last picnic table and could see them schooling by the ice house to far to cast or walk to,so we hung tight figuring they would make it down to us.....never happened,we finally walked back to the point as it was getting dark made a few cast and bingo! banana I guessed they passed us up on the bank, they must have been in a stealth mode, couldn't see them surfacing but continued to catch them every other cast it was dark but we kept catching them all undersized but better than being skunked!!Thats our report and were sticking to it!! wink
