I recently read this excerpt from a note here regarding places to fish in Dallas.
"White Rock Creek, north of LBJ and east of Hillcrest, where that small park is, has some decent fishing for bass bluegills and cat in the holes where you can't see the bottom. You would be surprised how good the fishing there can be! Hidden treasure. "
I stopped in to have a look the other day and the creek has a white rock bottom with various areas of slow and fast water. I walked along the nature trail in the park east till I came to the bridge and tehn followed the trail to LBJ alongside what used to be Lambert's nursery. I did see one Blue Gill and a single spawning circle nearby but no bass, no deep pools. Anyone walked this one down in the creek?
