Lake is around 10 foot low, water reasonably clear in the creek channels, temp 55 to 60 degrees.

Fished last Friday, 9 fish... no size to them, lagerst was 2 1/2 to 3. Fished yesterday, Tuesday. Great day on the lake, lots of sunshine, light winds. Caught 12 fish, largest were 3-8 and 5-15... The Boss was on... Fish caught on t-rigs and c-rigs. Nothing on topwater, or crank baits.

It is 5-15.

Yes, she always fishes the back of the boat... and yes, she catches most of the big ones...and for many, many years she always had the biggest. Right now though, I have the lead with a 9 1/2 caught in the same hole last spring... but, she does have two 7s and an 8 pounder.

Great looking fish 'dilla. A buddy and I fished Whitney yesterday with similar success. We had 11 keepers with best 5 going 22 lbs conservatively judging weight. To keep my holes protected I will not post pics, however, I will say we were on the other end of the lake from the pics above but your spot is one of my favorite summer time Carolina rig holes. Is Burleson having their open in March, also what about the Farm Bureau this year?

Txhorns, they are all over the depth spectrum. We caught them from 18" to 16' yesterday. Our best 2 came from 5-7' if that helps. I will say that if you have a background like the pics above, you are in the right spot

Okay thanks for the advice. I have been fishing waco only since I bought my boat, so I am wanting to give another lake a try.
