The problem is that we are so dependent on foreign oil, and they know it!!

I have learned to "keep my foot out of it" so to speak, therefore I can fish 3 weekends on a half a tank, it doesn't matter if it goes to 8 bucks a gal, we will still need it and we will pay for it, and OPEC knows that.

You have to get the Liberals out of the way before any serious drilling and gas production can happen here. By then it may be too late. Drilling here in earnest should have started in the 70's and yet we still don't because of the idiots in charge.

You should see the economic gowth that has taken place in Canada from their oil shale drilling. I drove through towns that used to be no mans land in the yukon territory and now they are like US cities, fancy hotels, restraunts, businesses.....lots of money being made next door in Canada where they dont have their hands tied by Liberals!

If you only fish one or two days a month on a lake a couple of miles away it wont matter much but if you fish every weekend and drive 70 miles each way it will cost more especially if you run a large engine.

Careful what you wish for. Canucks are paying (average) $1.14 per liter, which is about $4.30 per gallon.

If turmoil breaks out in Saudi Arabia all beats are off. Gas will easily hit the $10.00 per gallon mark.

if things continue with our current situations and administration, we will be hollowing out logs to fish out of and using sticks as paddles.

Really It effects everything moved over the road and maybe 15 or 20 bucks more wont keep some from going but it does have a serious effect on millions of people who are already having a hard time. We need to drill baby drill and get off the OPec tit.
