I bought one a couple weeks ago from BPS and I have used it only once, so I don't have a lot of experience with it yet. I do like how it feels and it appears to be well-made.
It isn't truly a Loomis rod, though. The tag said something like "Designed by G. Loomis but not affiliated with Gary Loomis Rods".

I like the Falcon bucco it is lighter in weight. I would like to test both on the lake!
One you build and fish with your own hand built custom rod you will fish with nothing else!

The rod is designed by Gary and yes it is a very durable rod I have 30 of them and have not had a problem with any of them! Including the customer rods, and some customers can we say may be not so gentle with your equipment. For the price point, quality, sensitivity, and durability you can't go wrong!! And by the way you know that Gary has not been with G-L rods for some time now? And yes I am sponsored by TFO,! I switched from St. Croix because there production quality was and is fading!! What a shame!

I bought one a while back and like it alot. It's my 2nd favorite rod behind my Lowrider.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.
