I tried BPS 15 and 17. They were horrible to me. I use seaguar and pline 100%. Both are very good IMO.

I have been using the P-Line Halo. I have not had any problems whatsoever. I was using 17lb Halo for my leader on my carolina rig. Had to switch to 15lb because it was stronger than the 20lb P-line mono I had in front.

Gamma Edge is Back in business... look them up online and give them a call. They will send you some. Made the same as always. Tell them Brad Told you to call. Thanks and glad to hear they have it available again. No other flouro holds up better than Gamma Edge.

yup Gamma is still a go... Had a booth right next to gamma at the classic so I talked to him about it.. Pretty cool to know they are back, and everything will be offered in bulk.

Why didn't you like it? I use XPS and love it. Never had a problem with it.

I hate fluro for the reasons listed. Ya'lls confidence in these other brands have me wanting to try it again. They are pricey so how often do you have to re-spool. I am a weekend fisherman that maybe goes once a week and 2-3 times a week in summer. Thanks in advance.

I re-spool every couple months usually. Make sure to use backing on your reel and only put ~75-100yds on at a time, you'll get 2-3 spools out of it.

I have switched almost all of my reels to the Stren Flurocast. I really like it....so far. I just can't afford the InvisX anymore. Used BPS for a while but noticed a quality issues. Something changed. Same with the Trilene 100%, I loved it at first then I replaced all of my line and every weight of line had breaking issues on hooksets.

backing? as in, load up on the cheap line and then tie the 100 yards of fluro at the end?
