It's still a little early but I would start looking for spawing areas. They should be staging for it.
2ft water with dropoff to 6+ close by.
Sandy/rocky bottom with cattails or lilypads.
I remember some spot like that over in the north-east end.
You should find the males getting the beds started with the girls out a little deeper supervising.

We were out around the 66 bridge, marked lots and lots of baits but that's bout it, am I lookin at the wrong area?

crappie hook - Thanks for the ingo. started out this morning at the Miller Rd bridge and water temp was 55. Didnt find any there so went up to the train bridge and didn't find them there but water temp got to 59. Went on further north to the old sunken 66 bridge and notta there either....went to the 66 bridge and got into 1.5 foot water and rock city. Got out of there and went back to the Miller Rd. bridge....notta again. Then we went to the I-30 bridge by Bass Pro and they sunked us again water temp still 56.....headed to the Heathe side of lake and went to old tree in the mouth of some cove where the sunked boat is....NOTTA. Water temp was 55 there. I am guessing the clouds overhead and coler weather turned them off. We there jigs and rosy red minnows.
