I have been away from regular bass fishing for longer than I would like to admit. I am just starting to get back into it and all these "micro guides" and neon vegetable sticks got me realizing just how fast the market changes.
I realize it's the person and the knowledge holding the reel that makes the fisherman but I was never that good anyway so I was hoping for a little input on what techniques and tackle are working this time of year. I am fishing out of a john boat so close to shore on points, rocks and docks is where I stay.
Much appreciated.

Same here, just slow down and from what i've seen this past month do what you did back then. It still works. Gotta love old school.
