As several of you know, I have been very busy taking care of 2 children who I took in through Child Protective Services. With a 19 month child and the other just turned 3 years old, I have been spending a lot of my spare time making sure they have all the attention they need. That said, I have been neglecting doing things to get bookings for this season and have a lot of openings currently available. I appreciate all the guys on the forum who recommend me, they know I will work hard every minute on the water to get my clients on fish also that I have a great deal of knowledge and patience. So anyone interested in hooking into some big Fork toads or wanting to learn a little about fishing on Fork please give a holler to take advantage of these openings. Thanks and be Safe, Also for those interested, here is a pic of the kids. I know a few of you had asked to see them. Alexi and Bubba's first real Christmas. I feel blessed to have them in my life and hope I am making a diference.

James, it's great what you've done for those kids. You've really got a big heart. I always loved fishing and grew up spending some awesome days crappie fishing Fork with my Dad. But, I was always looking at those bass boats going by, envious of those Lake Fork monsters they were after. I hit ponds all I could growing up with a spinnerbait and a texas rig and jumped at any chance I had to go and learn about bass fishing. I was lucky enough to have a dad growing up that always made sure that we had a boat understanding my love for fishing.. Tackling a large body of water was beyond me at that point. A little over 3 years ago that I found the TFF while talking to a guy while I was selling the Bass Cat for a newer boat.. I signed on and scoured around for a little while and found one of James' posts.. I explained my love/hate relationship with bass and it was game over while on my first outting with him on my third cast I felt that bite on a weightless t-rigged tiki stick, shattering my vision of a long day of casting with a few fish here and there. I was fortunate enough to have James kind of take me under his wing and has been one of my mentors on and off of the lake from then on.. We still talk often and fish as often as schedules allow. I even met him up at Bass Pro Shops today. A few weeks into he asked me if I wanted to start tournament fishing and I told him there's no way I could compete with those guys.. I found myself starting off at the Ray Hubbard Tuesday nights a short while after.. Ray Hubbard Bass Club after that, on to JC Outdoors, onto Media and for the first time this year, Bass Champs.. I even stumbled on cashing a check or two along the way. I owe a lot to James as he really cut out a lof the b.s. and helped me shorten the learning curve and saved me a lot of frusterating days on the water, knowing how eager I was. Everything from cleaning my reels, to changing hooks, using a sharpie on braid, driving in rough water, tournament stradegies, etc, etc, etc. - I owe to James' willingness to help a young, dumb kid out. He has a background in the grocery store industry and James truly brings that hospitality in the boat with him. He even stopped by the house this fall and helped recarpet my boat for a few hours.. He's introduced me to some really nice people along the way and fortunately the TFF has allowed me to associate my real estate business into the fishing world that is full of good hearted people with a common passion. There are a lot of great guides out there and I'm not putting anyone down at all.. just from my own personal experience, I can promise you that James will truly work his tail off to make sure you have the best trip possible. If you're considering a booking a guide, at least give him a call and talk a little fishing. Thanks again James and I wish you the best of luck in all that you do.

James is a great stick but an even better person. No doubt those kids are better off with you in their lives. I know you've sacraficed alot in raising them but the world will be better for it. Thanks for all you've done. Guys most guides are booked solid for the next few monthes and James would be too if he had been pursuing it, but take advantage of some openings he has a book a trip. You won't regret it,

I'm not in the need of a guide on Fork right now, but James you are an amazing person. The world would be a much better place with more people like you in it.
May God continue to Bless you.

James ia a "must have" guide. I've been with hime twice this year and can attest to his ability to find fish and make your trip a productive and enjoyable day on the lake. A first class person.
