Hit one of the LL creeks yesterday and we have been in this creek 3 times in the last couple of weeks. We have caught fish every time on each of the outings - whats different is the presentation used to catch the fish. First trip down they wouldnt seem to hit anything at all and only found 3 spots that produced. Only thing they would hit a minnow under cork. Next time out went to same spots and nothing until a lesser experienced guy with us haha starts casting a 3-4 inch white grub simple cast and retrieve - wham 4 fish almost his first 4 cast. Then yesterday went and tried same thing nada - vertical jigged, jig under bobber, minnows nada. We pulled up to a bend we hadnt fished and remained unproductive until I threw out a booby Garland and let it pendulum swing back to the boat off a drop in the bend just let it bounce on the bottom. We all switched techniques and wham turned the day around and caught fish for 45 minutes solid. Point of the story - be versatile. I thank the guides "Ernest" and everyone else that shares their techniqes on this forum. Turned a poor day into a very steller one!
