Has anyone ever put a yak in on marine creek between Saginaw and Lake Worth? Just wondering if anyone has had any luck out there. Thanks.

There are some nice ones there. Quicker the better IMO. Been my experiance that Big Girls spawn 1st. Work the banks, Any gravel or rocks you can find, loggs & shallows. Look for movement in the reeds. Take your time. Spinner baits & anything rigged weedless! Please report your experiance! GOOD LUCK :~)

Marine Creek is a great little spot, kayak friendly. It's been stocked with Florida large mouth, my best is six lbs. Like Zombie said work the shore lines, i like the college line all the way up into the creek at the far north end, also the cove with the ski ramp is good if the power boats are'nt there. Had good luck on weightless/weedless worms, and traps.

ANYONE WANT TO GO TODAY OR TOMORROW A.M.

I live close to Marine Creek but haven't fished it yet. Sounds like I should! Any suggestions on the best spots to launch a kayak? Any advice is appreciated.

The Crappie likes to hang out at the rock wall next to 820. Check the coves up north and to the west. Small bass but a fun place to fish.

I know that Marine Creek has been part of a special sharelunker growth-rate study. They put a crapload of SL fry in that lake a few years back. Friend of mine who lives over that way said that there's so many meat fishermen who keep every bass they catch over there that it hasn't really done much for the size. Not sure how factual any of that is, though.

Does anyone fly fish it? I usually take my spinning rod and my fly rod with me when I go in the kayak.
